An Act to Amend The Residential Tenancies Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Subsection 1(2) of The Residential Tenancies Act, chapter R-10.2 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1975, is repealed and the following is substituted:

1(2) The member of the Executive Council designated by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council to administer the Service New Brunswick Act is responsible for the administration of this Act.

COMMENCEMENT

2 This Act comes into force on April 1, 2008.

EXPLANATORY NOTES

Section 1

The existing provision is as follows:

1(2) The Minister of Justice and Consumer Affairs shall administer this Act.
