An Act to Amend the
Electrical Installation and Inspection Act
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1 Section
1 of the French version of the Electrical Installation and Inspection
Act, chapter E-4.1 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1976, is amended
(a) by repealing the definition « fournisseur
autorisé »;
(b) by adding the following
definition in alphabetical order:
« distributeur d’électricité »
désigne une corporation ou une personne physique qui produit
de l’énergie électrique pour un consommateur, la lui
transmet ou la lui fournit; (supply authority)
2 Paragraph
12c) of the French version of the Act is amended by striking out “un
fournisseur autorisé” and substituting “un distributeur d’électricité”.
COMMENCEMENT
3 This Act comes into force on a day to be
fixed by proclamation.
