An Act to Amend the Auditor General Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 13 of the Auditor General Act, chapter A-17.1 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1981, is amended by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the following:

13(1) The Auditor General shall report annually, and six months prior to a fixed general election date, to the Legislative Assembly

(a) on the work of his office, and

(b) on whether, in carrying on the work of his office, he received all the information and explanations he required.
