An Act to Amend the
Retirement Plan Beneficiaries Act
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1 Subsection
2(1) of the French version of the Retirement Plan Beneficiaries Act,
chapter R-10.21 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1982, is amended in
the portion following paragraph b) by striking out “revoquer”
and substituting “révoquer”.
2 Section
6.1 of the Act is amended
(a) by renumbering the
section as subsection 6.1(1);
(b) by adding after subsection
(1) the following:
6.1(2) A regulation made under subsection (1) may be retroactive in
its operation to January 1, 2009, or to any date after January 1,
2009.
COMMENCEMENT
3 This Act shall be deemed to have come into
force on January 1, 2009.
