An Act to Amend the
Judicature Act
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1 Subsection
73.1(1) of the Judicature Act, chapter J-2 of the Revised Statutes,
1973, is amended
(a) in the portion preceding
paragraph a) of the French version by striking out “se compose”
and substituting “se
compose des personnes suivantes :”;
(b) by repealing paragraph
a) of the French version and substituting the following:
a) le juge en chef du Nouveau-Brunswick,
ou un juge de la Cour qu’il désigne, qui en assure la présidence;
(c) in paragraph b) of the French version by
striking out the comma at the end of the paragraph and substituting
a semicolon;
(d) by adding after paragraph
(b) the following:
(b.1) a judge of the Court of Appeal designated
by the Chief Justice of New Brunswick,
(b.2) a judge of the Family Division designated
by the Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench,
(e) in paragraph
c) of the French version by striking out the comma at the end of the
paragraph and substituting a semicolon;
(f) in paragraph d) of
the French version by striking out “, et” at the end of
the paragraph and substituting a semicolon.
COMMENCEMENT
2 This Act or any provision of it comes into
force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation.
