An Act to Amend the Members' Conflict of Interest Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 1 of the Members' Conflict of Interest Act, chapter M-7.01 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1999, is amended by repealing the definition "member" and substituting the following:

"member" means

(a) a member of the legislative Assembly,

(b) a member of the Executive Council,

(c) a Deputy Minister as defined in the Civil Service Act, and

(d) the chief administrative officer of a Crown corporation enumerated by regulation;

2 This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
