An Act to Amend the Human Rights Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 The preamble of the Human Rights Act, chapter H-11 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by adding after the second paragraph the following:

WHEREAS the quality and continuity of human rights are measured by the environment they operate in; and

2 This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
