An Act Respecting Expenditure Restraint

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

Executive Council Act

1 Subsection 6.1(2) of the Executive Council Act, chapter E-12 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended in the portion preceding paragraph (a) by striking out “2011” and substituting “2012”.

Legislative Assembly Act

2(1) Section 25 of the Legislative Assembly Act, chapter L-3 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended

(a)  in subsection (1.1) in the portion preceding paragraph (a) by striking out “2011” and substituting “2012”;

(b)  by repealing subsection (2.001);

(c)  by repealing subsection (2.02);

(d)  in subsection (2.2) of the French version by striking out “salaire annuel” and substituting “traitement annuel”.

2(2) Subsection 30.1(3) of the Act is repealed.

2(3) Section 37 of the Act is repealed.

Commencement

3 This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on January 1, 2011.
