An Act to Repeal the Habeas Corpus Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1(1) The Habeas Corpus Act, chapter H-1 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is repealed.

1(2) New Brunswick Regulation 84-62 under the Habeas Corpus Act is repealed.

CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS AND COMMENCEMENT

Amendment to Judicature Act

2 Schedule B of the Judicature Act, chapter J-2 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by striking out

Habeas Corpus Act

Amendment to Liquor Control Act

3 Section 195 of the Liquor Control Act, chapter L-10 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is repealed.

4 This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
