An Act to Amend the Municipal Assistance Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 4 of the Municipal Assistance Act, chapter M-19 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by adding after subsection (12) the following:

4(13) The unconditional grant of a municipality for the year 2012 is determined by the formula

A – B

where

A is the unconditional grant of the municipality for the year 2011;

B is 2% of the unconditional grant of the municipality for the year 2011.
