An Act to Amend the Environmental Trust Fund Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1                  Section 1 of the Environmental Trust Fund Act, chapter 151 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended by adding after subsection (2) the following:

1(2.1)         Notwithstanding section 3, the Minister of Finance

 shall not authorize the withdrawal of funds from the Environmental

 Trust Fund for the purposes of depositing the

 funds into the ordinary account of any government department.

2                  This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation
