Loan Act 2015

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 In addition to all money authorized to be raised by any other Act of the Legislature, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is authorized to raise from time to time in accordance with section 4 of the Provincial Loans Act such sums of money, not exceeding in the aggregate eight hundred million dollars, as may be deemed expedient for any or all of the following purposes: for the public service, for discharging any indebtedness or obligation of New Brunswick, or for reimbursing the Consolidated Fund for any moneys expended in discharging any such indebtedness or obligation, and for the carrying on of public works authorized by the Legislature.
