An Act to Amend the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 1 of the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, chapter R-10.6 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2009, is amended in the definition “officer of the Legislative Assembly” by striking out “and the Auditor General” and substituting “, the Commissioner of Official Languages for New Brunswick and the Auditor General”.

2 This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on September 1, 2010.
