An Act to Amend the Financial Administration Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 The Financial Administration Act, chapter 160 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended by adding after subsection 41(3) the following:

41(4)          At least 60 days before the day a scheduled general election is to be held, the Minister shall publish the financial statements of the Province for the previous fiscal year with respect to which the Auditor General has given an opinion in accordance with section 11 of the Auditor General Act.

41(5)          At least 90 days before the day a scheduled general election is to be held, the Minister shall publish an updated version of the multi-year fiscal plan tabled with the main estimates for the current fiscal year.
