An Act to Amend the Midwifery Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Subsection 2(2) of the Midwifery Act, chapter M-11.5 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2008, is amended

ain paragraph (a) by striking out “the standards of practice established by the regulations” and substituting “the standards of practice established by the Council”;

bin paragraph (d) by striking out “the standards of practice established by the regulations” and substituting “the standards of practice established by the Council”.

2 Subsection 16(3) of the Act is amended by striking out “if it is in session or, if not, at the next ensuing session” and substituting “if it is then sitting, and if not, the Minister shall file the annual report with the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly”.

3 Paragraph 99(l) of the Act is repealed.
