An Act to Amend the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 1 of the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation Act, chapter 105 of the Revised Statutes, 2016, is amended

ain the definition “sale” and “sell”

( i) in subparagraph (b)(ii) by striking out “, or” at the end of the subparagraph and substituting a period;

( ii) by repealing paragraph (c);

bby repealing the following definitions:

“cannabis”;

“cannabis accessory”;

“cannabis retail outlet”;

“recreational use cannabis”.

2 Section 3 of the Act is amended

ain paragraph (d) of the English version by adding “and” at the end of the paragraph;

bby repealing paragraph (d.1).

3 Paragraph 19(b) of the Act is repealed.

4 Subsection 23(4) of the Act is amended by striking out “the sale of cannabis and any other business” and substituting “any business”.

Commencement

5 This Act or any provision of it comes into force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation.
