An Act to Amend the Seafood Processing Act
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1 Subsection 5(1) of the Seafood Processing Act, chapter S-5.3 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2006, is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following: 
aholds a registration or licence under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada), and
2 Section 6 of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following: 
athe applicant does not hold the registration or licence or have the certification referred to in subsection 5(1), or
3 Subsection 8(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following: 
athe applicant does not hold the registration or licence referred to in paragraph 5(1)(a) or, subject to section 16.93, have the certification required in accordance with the regulations,
4 Section 14 of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following: 
athe licensee does not hold the registration or licence referred to in paragraph 5(1)( a) or, subject to section 16.93, have the certification required in accordance with the regulations,
5 Subsection 16.1(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following: 
aholds a registration or licence under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada),
6 Subsection 16.3(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
aholds a registration or licence under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada), and
7 Section 16.31 of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
athe applicant does not hold the registration or licence or have the certification referred to in subsection 16.3(1), or
8 Subsection 16.33(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
athe licensee does not hold the registration or licence referred to in paragraph 16.3(1)(a), or, subject to section 16.93, have the certification required in accordance with the regulations,
9 Section 16.44 of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
athe licensee does not hold the registration or licence referred to in paragraph 16.3(1)(a), or, subject to section 16.93, have the certification required in accordance with the regulations,
10 Subsection 16.51(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
aholds a registration or licence under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada),
11 Subsection 16.6(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
aholds a registration or licence under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada), and
12 Section 16.61 of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
athe applicant does not hold the registration or licence or have the certification referred to in subsection 16.6(1), or
13 Subsection 16.63(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
athe licensee does not hold the registration or licence or have the certification referred to in paragraph 16.6(1)(a) or, subject to section 16.93, have the certification required in accordance with the regulations,
14 Section 16.8 of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
athe licensee does not hold the registration or licence or have the certification referred to in paragraph 16.6(1)(a) or, subject to section 16.93, have the certification required in accordance with the regulations,
15 Subsection 16.82(1) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
aholds a registration or licence under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada),
16 Subsection 67(3) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (d) and substituting the following:
dregistrations or licences under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada);
17 Subsection 67(4) of the Act is amended by repealing paragraph (d) and substituting the following:
dregistrations or licences under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (Canada);
Commencement
18 This Act or any provision of it comes into force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation.
