An Act to Amend the Days of Rest Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 4 of the Days of Rest Act, chapter D-4.2 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1985, is amended

aby repealing paragraph (1)(a) and substituting the following: 

arent or offer for rent, sell or offer for sale or purchase any service, goods or chattels,

bin subsection (3)

( i) in paragraph (v) by striking out “and” at the end of the paragraph;

( ii) in paragraph (w) by striking out the period at the end of the paragraph and substituting “, and”;

( iii) by adding after paragraph (w) the following: 

xreal estate activities, including the viewing or displaying, the rental or offer for rental, the trade, the sale or offer for sale or purchase of real estate.

Regulation under the Days of Rest Act

2 Paragraph 3(1)(d) of New Brunswick Regulation 85-149 under the Days of Rest Act is repealed.
