An Act to Amend the Gasoline and Motive Fuel Tax Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Subsection 3(1) of the Gasoline and Motive Fuel Tax Act, chapter G-3 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by striking out “tax of 15.5 cents on each litre of gasoline” and substituting “tax of 10.87 cents on each litre of gasoline”.

2 Subsection 6(1) of the Act is amended by striking out “tax of 21.5 cents on each litre of motive fuel” and substituting “tax of 15.45 cents on each litre of motive fuel”.

3 This Act comes into force on April 1, 2020.
