An Act to Amend the Auditor General Act

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 1 of the Auditor General Act, chapter 118 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended by repealing the definition “auditable entity” and substituting the following:

“auditable entity” means (entité auditable)

aa department,

ba public entity,

ca trust fund,

da service provider,

ea funding recipient,

fVestcor Corp. and any subsidiary corporation of Vestcor Corp., or

gany entity that is prescribed by regulation to be an auditable entity.

2 Section 22 of the Act is amended by adding after paragraph (a) the following:

a.1prescribing an entity as an auditable entity for the purposes of paragraph (g) of the definition “auditable entity” in section 1;
