Susan Holt is a fiercely passionate advocate for the small but mighty province of New Brunswick. Elected in 2024 as the 35th Premier, Holt leads a government that is focused on delivering a future with better healthcare close to home and a modern and growing economy where every New Brunswicker can live affordably and prosper.

Premier Holt has both local and global business experience, having worked in sales, human resources, and global management roles with large information technology firms. She also has experience in community leadership, provincial and national advocacy, and, within government, economic policy. That experience has shaped her practical approach to leadership, which has collaboration, accountability, and results at its core.

Premier Holt places a high value on public engagement. She regularly meets with frontline workers, community leaders, municipalities, Indigenous partners, entrepreneurs, and neighbours to ensure government decisions are informed by lived experience. She believes effective leadership begins with respect—respect for people’s time, their perspectives, and their contributions to the province.

Premier Holt represents the people in the riding of Fredericton South-Silverwood. She and her husband Jon have three daughters, Molly, Paige, and Brooke.

As Premier, she leads with a deep love for this province and its people and the belief that government can and should make a meaningful difference in people’s everyday lives.
