Richard Losier

Richard Losier was elected to the New Brunswick Legislature as the Liberal Member for Dieppe in 2023 and is the Official Opposition critic for Housing.

Mr. Losier has over 25 years of progressive clinical and management experience in various sectors of the provincial health care sector. He spent a number of years working in an ICU environment as an RN. Mr. Losier worked for more than 10 years at Vitalité Health Network as Executive Director of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, most notably as Chief Operating Officer of Zone 1, Vice-President of Professional Practice - Research and Academic Affairs, where he was responsible for directing the Extra-Mural Program. He was also CEO of EM/ANB for 5 years.

Fluently bilingual, he holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université de Moncton.

An active volunteer, Mr. Losier has served on various committees, including the Parent School Support Committee at various Dieppe schools and the University Council at Université de Moncton. A husband, father and grandfather, he and his wife have lived in Dieppe with their three children for over 20 years.
