Don Monahan
Don Monahan was elected to the 61st Legislative Assembly on October 21, 2024, representing the riding of Arcadia-Butternut Valley-Maple Hills.
A native of Petitcodiac, New Brunswick, Mr. Monahan served in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he was stationed at various bases across the country, with a significant portion of his service in Québec. His commitment to public service extended beyond the military, as he was elected to the Mascouche City Council in Québec, serving two consecutive four-year terms beginning in 2013.
Despite his time away, New Brunswick remained close to his heart. In 2019, he returned to his home province, acquiring a business that allowed him to re-establish his roots in southern New Brunswick.
Known for his dedication to community development, Mr. Monahan has been instrumental in creating jobs and establishing an economic hub to stimulate growth in the region. His leadership and vision continue to make a positive impact on the communities he serves.
