Admission into the Program
Current students enrolled in New Brunswick universities are eligible to apply for admission into the Program. Intake is in the autumn of each year, and the Program begins each January.
Admission into the Program is competitive. A successful applicant will:
- be a third- or fourth-year student;
- major in Political Science or a related discipline, or otherwise possess a demonstrated knowledge of the parliamentary legislative process and governmental system;
- possess excellent inter-personal skills;
- be able to take direction, work independently and remotely , and manage a variety of tasks; and
- have a strong academic record, including excellent written and oral communication skills.
- An ability to communicate in both official languages is preferred.
In the fall of each year the Departments of Political Science will issue a call for applications to the Program. Applicants making the short list will be interviewed by members of the Steering Committee. Admission decisions will be made by November.
